A little about me.. in 2015, I competed in my first triathlon after being bullied into it by a coworker. My first race was a sprint on Norfolk’s Naval Base. Immediately I was hooked. I jumped feet first into the crazy world that is TRIATHLON.
Since then I’ve competed in North America, the South Pacific, and Taiwan among others. With most of my life spent growing up in Europe – traveling and exploring new places is in my blood. I’ve always been a gypsy soul never living anywhere more than 3-4 years. It seemed natural to start this blog to combine my two passions of traveling and racing triathlon. I started this blog to share with friends & family what racing internationally is like when you don’t speak the language and can’t read the street signs!
I hope you enjoy my stories as well as the occasional tip on how to train while on holiday or a review of a race overseas! Mostly, I hope you’re inspired to take a race-cation of your own!
